These documents were prepared specifically for graduate students by Emory faculty who have been deeply involved in the Grant Writing Program over the years. Please note that the two cycles indicated below are targeted for different groups. The Fall cycle is to serve students who are working for imminent deadlines for a specific funder. The Spring cycle is to serve students at any stage, and so they may submit a more generic proposal.

Dare Mighty Things. This guide details the keys to winning government grants. The instructor has 20 years of experience in the field, which is evident in the way she takes some of the most difficult aspects of grant writing and turns them easy. You can access the course via the Udemy web portal or mobile app on iOS and Android phones alike.

The course is dedicated to helping students not just learn about the grant writing process but also experience it practically as they get to write samples and get them tested by expert evaluators.

You can either take the classes in person or online via zoom, thus giving you the freedom to learn based on your preference. Where the previously reviewed grant writing certifications take a two dimensional approach, the University of South Carolina takes a three dimensional approach, preparing individuals for practical and professional writing as well.
